We have rescheduled Habib’s vigil to Monday 3rd of January 2011 as we had heavy snow on the 18th Dec in High Wycombe & Slough.

This will be outside High Wycombe Police station on Queen Victoria Road, HP11 1BE 4-6pm. Please bring a candle and get wrapped up!

Harmit Athwal from the Institute of Race Relations attended the recent inquest which was abandoned and has written an excellent article. Read it here >

Coming into 2011 and we are still fighting with the family. We will be pressing for a new inquest date and making sure that the IPCC conduct a through investigation.

Happy new year to you all and a big thank you for your support.
Big love

  1. Hello to all who are watching and following up the case. Hope all is well and good. It has been two and half years since the death of Paps. we the family want answers. Yes answers. There are a lot of questions to be answered.

Why was Paps restraint the way he was ……why……….we the family are so upset and sad? It’s really hard to move on …after sitting at the inquest and listening to details clearly. How and what those officers had done to Paps…..on the 3rd July 2008…

We the family and my mother and Paps oldest daughter have sat in the inquest and listen to every detail from them 5 officers. They seem to think it’s a big joke and was hoping thy will brush it under the carpet…no ….they are responsible for their actions and what thy have don on 3rd July 2008.

We the family will not give up. No justice no peace. Thank you to every one who is following up the case. No lies no peace.. No justice no peace. My brother is missed deeply by the family and Paps 3 kids’. He was a great guy who would get on with all.

Paps will not be forgotten in our thoughts and prayers daily. My mother is finding it really hard to move on and is suffering really badly. No parent should have their child taken away from them.

    God bless. Take care.
    One love
    Brother Raja x

  2. Salaam guys

I wish every one a happy new year. Guys who are involved and coming to the vigils and meetings and showing support to the family. I the brother off Paps and my family mother are finding it really hard to move on as the inquest was stopped by the coroner.

Its going over and over matters which had occurred on the 3rd July 2008. which we as the family will have to go through again at the next inquest.

The IPCC have reopened the investigation under criminal law. Therefore we will wait for them to see what they will do. There are a lot of questions to be answered. I will keep campaigning and fighting for justice for my brother and family / friends. No justice no peace.

My brother was a loving father he has 3 lovely kids a wife and a loving brother. Paps was a nice guy who got on with everyone. Great brother. He will be in our prayers daily and will not be forgotten. Dearly missed by family, kids, mother and friends.

    Peace and love. Brother Raja.
